Accomplished institutional relationship manager with ESG expertise, Satoko Asai joins our distribution team.

Satoko has over 15 years’ experience in institutional sales, equity investment analysis and ESG investing in Japan, predominantly growing equity investment revenue. She recently led the development of Schroder Investment Management’s global product offering, and was previously the head of Japanese equities at Daiwa Capital Markets Australia.

Satoko holds a Masters and Bachelor in Engineering (Environmental & Ocean) from the University of Tokyo and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Satoko joins U Ethical at a pivotal time as the fund manager expands further into wealth management and institutional markets. She will take her financial and ESG expertise to seek new opportunities for U Ethical.

Director – distribution David Brennan commented on the appointment noting that Satoko’s breadth of knowledge across investment and ESG made her a very appealing candidate.
