U Ethical Expands ESG Capabilities with New Senior Responsible Investment Analyst

We’re thrilled to announce that Simon O’Connor, a leading figure in responsible investment and sustainability, has joined our Ethical Advisory Panel. With over 20 years of expertise at the intersection of economics, finance, and sustainability, Simon has led significant advancements in environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG), and climate change frameworks across the finance, corporate, and non-profit sectors.

As the former CEO of the responsible investment industry body for Australia and New Zealand, Simon spearheaded growth to over 500 finance sector members, representing more than US$30 trillion in assets. His leadership extended to founding the Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative and chairing the Global Sustainable Investment Alliance.
