Compounding Good: How Ethical Investing Supports Community Impact
At U Ethical, ethical investing is about more than just financial returns. Each year, our operating surplus supports the Uniting Church, one of Australia’s largest non-government providers of community services. Our model ensures that the better we do, the more we give—a principle we call compounding good.
One powerful example of this impact is the 101 Engagement Hub in St Kilda, a welcoming space where individuals facing homelessness, isolation, or hardship find warmth, dignity, and connection. Here, names are remembered, stories are shared, and a true sense of belonging is restored. Whether through a hot meal, a safe place to rest, it serves a function of bringing people together.
